Back to normal

I finally am feeling better.  I went on errands as well. A first for me in a few weeks.

Good news happened, too. I had 2 quilts accepted to the Great Wisconsin Quilt show in Madison in September. Hooray!   But then I could not enter them as they were on display at the Wisconsin State Fair where they received a first and 3rd pace ribbon.

But lo, and behold, I got a call today to deliver them to Nancy Zieman's shop in Beaver Damn this week anyway.  I am so lucky!

Plus my daughter and her beaux are in town.  We spent a morning with them downtown in Milwaukee yesterday.  Hooray!  I also feel blessed that both kids have had big events in their life this summer. Much happiness after lots of prayers and hopes for a very long time.

But sad to say, I have done more cross stitch than sewing.

To be made into a "strawberry" shape.

This is almost done in perforated paper.

I hope to proceed with the sewing machine in the next couple of days now that I am rejuvenated.

And thanks to all my friends who have been there.
