One more block for last week: number 39
It is hard to believe that the 1st block came out in March. And I am doing o.k keeping up. Just one block to tweak. But overall it is looking very good. If you haven't seen these before, they are 6 inch blocks and mine are made from Kansas Trouble fabrics. Starching is truly the key to precise piecing.
And here are all the blocks so far.
Hmm my light backgrounds really stick out.
It has truly been an adventure on piecing. And it has not used up much fabric.
Hi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the different background fabrics you have used. I don't think the lightest one stick out too much. This will be fabulous when you put it all together! Is there a layout given or do you plan to do your own thing? ~smile~ Roseanne
It is amazing how the morning makes things look differently. I have no plan at this point and am looking forward to seeing what the 6 designers have in mind.

The light backgrounds don't stick out in the photo. Do you plan to set them side by side. Have you tried grouping them in the middle. Or more obviously alternating them with the darker blocks?
ReplyDeleteSometimes juggling them a little more is all you gotta do.
